The BHM 2016 Art Show

This year’s BHM Art Show features Nathan Clarke’s fascinating paintings that are inspired by traditional African designs from Zulu war shields to fabric prints. 

Rachel Willis in partnership with the BHM 2016 committee has created a video installation that chronicles the lives of Norwich’s black village elders. 

Jamaican artist Danny Keen is presenting a series of abstract oil paintings entitled “Of Violets and Black Holes”. 

This open exhibition will include the work of City College students with a special award going to the best piece.

Jamaican artist Danny Keen will be resident at City College Norwich on Thursday 13th October with live painting and demonstrating.

Nathan Clarke’s fascinating paintings are inspired by traditional African designs. Zulu war shields, handmade textiles and many other intriguing sources inform his work. City College students will have the opportunity to see this master at work on Monday 17th October during normal college hours.
