Black Culture and Heritage Norfolk (BCHN) aim is to recognise significant contributions to society made by people with African heritage, highlighting the achievements of the black community and demonstrating how all peoples contribute to a culture. BCHN organises and promotes a range of events and activities relating to black history, education, arts and culture including exhibitions, workshops, family events, community activities and seminars to improve social and racial cohesion by building positive images and new connections of people from different backgrounds; thereby integrating marginalised people into the wider community and amongst other goals, to celebrate Black History Month in October each year.
